Send the customer a copy of the gift card

When a customer purchases a Govalo gift card, it gets sent directly to the recipient. The customer gets the regular Shopify order confirmation email, but they don't get a copy of the gift card sent.

If you wish, however, you can give your customers the option to receive a copy of the gift card they're purchasing.

In the Govalo app, simply go to Configure > Advanced gift card configurations and enable the "Send a copy notifications" setting:

This will add an option in our popup which customers can toggle to have a copy of the gift card sent to themselves:

This option is untoggled by default
The customer buying the gift card will receive the copy on the same date as the recipient
