Klaviyo - Getting started

On both our Premium, and Enterprise plans, we help merchants like you to connect Klaviyo to your Govalo account. Send us an email if you have any questions and would like to use this feature. 

Within Govalo

Step 1

Navigate to Integrations and click on Configure Klaviyo:

In the field  Klaviyo public API key, paste your Public API Key from Klaviyo, which you can obtain in your Klaviyo account under Account > Settings > API Keys, then click Save (if you need further assistance locating your public API key, please follow the steps in Klaviyo - Getting your public API key):

Still in the same screen, click Enable:

Navigate to Configure > Configure email templates, then navigate into the notification you wish to set up to be sent through Klaviyo (you can control individually whether a given notification is sent through Govalo or Klaviyo):

Change the email source from Govalo to Klaviyo and click Save:

Within Klaviyo

Step 1

Under Flows, click on Create Flow:

Step 2

Create a new flow from scratch

Step 3

Name the flow "Received gift card":

Step 4

Creating the trigger: Select "metric" and use "Received Gift Card" as the action:

Step 5

Drag Email into the flow, add the Subject and save changes:

Step 6

Add the template you wish to start with by selecting "Configure Content":

Once you have created this flow and selected your template, you can follow this guide in order to further customize your email template.
